The energy that comes from the audience and from the performers. Riverbend and any outdoor venue is my paradise... Summertime...why? as i mentioned before the live concerts, warm rain showers, sunny skies- perfect for tanning and reading by the pool Reading Tom Clancy novels...absolutely entertaining of course the usual answers too...shopping, sleeping, etc. but, i can't fail to mention that i love to learn....the more you know the easier it is to debate and we all know how much i enjoy getting into a good debate

I hate job interviews...it's just one more thing that can bring you down and basically tell you are unqualified for such and such, but we're (the company) not going to help you get into the best position...sucks for you! when the interviewer asks where you see yourself in 5 years i really want to answer:

I would like to have 2 kids, boy and girl of course, a great husband who brings in all the cash, a gorgeous house in the burbs, and one of those really big SUVs.

That's not exactly want I want my life to be like... but whatever you answer is never good enough. I just hate interviews!

I really want to be back in school, then I don't have to worry about this nonsense.  I can concentrate on what I really enjoy.  I can do the activities I enjoy...spend my time how I like it.  Being in the "corporate world" really limits personal time and time with frineds.  It limits everything.  What is really going to bother me is this summer.  I will truely miss not being able to spend summer any way I want...going on vacation, hanging out at the beach, sitting outside at a bar drinking until the middle of the night. Well, I guess I'll get through it.  I have to.

there's a good chance i'll be switching over to blogger (Google power!).
chicagogrl.blogspot.com

i've had this one for awhile and just never used it. well, if you still want to see what is happening in my life.

i may still update here every once in a while....i'm not sure yet...

Sometimes I wish I was back in Ohio.  I have amazing friends who I know will always be there when I need them.  They will always be there to listen when I need to or they will be there to party when partying is much needed.  Most of my family is also in Ohio.  I miss being able to sit by my aunt's pool and talk to her for hours while sipping margaritas.  Or, I miss running over to my other aunt's place to babysit for the two little ones and then afterward spending the night.  I miss talking to Peggy and Dan (the aunt and uncle with the little ones) about my life ambitions and possible ways of achieving them.  I hate the fact that I cannot run up the street to visit my grandma for what should only be 30 minutes and then turns out to be lunch out and a little shopping until dinner! As much as I say I don't want to move back to Cincinnati, sometimes I think it's the best option for me.
Then I realize if I move back to Cincinnati I did not really accomplish anything because there is nothing to conquer there.  I don't believe I can learn any real life lessons in the city.  I know I'm meant to live in a large city and be something.
My jobs here are good.  I wish I could do the nanny thing full time...and it's not that the family wouldn't want it; it's that they don't offer insurance which I somewhat need.  However, I do go f/t with the other job (boo) starting in August and will continue to nanny my 2 days off.  So, yes, I will be working 7 days a week for at least the next month!  My only break comes when I will be heading to Akron to see my best friend get married *GASP*!
Now about this marriage.  I am very happy for the both of them, but I'm afraid this will be the end of an eight year friendship.  I am friends with the groom and I do not know the proper etiquite about girl-boy friendships after marriage...so if anyone knows please clue me in!!!
I must admit, the best thing about being out of college is the amount of time I have for my own reading selection! While my interest for television is coming back, reading is my new past time (please leave some good titles I should check out).

things are going much much better.  i went to the doc's on friday to finally find out what is wrong with me (after 6 months i kind of would like to know!) and the answer is still unclear! i could have this, it could be that, yadda yadda yadda.  all i know is that more tests are needed...xrays, needle pricks, blood tests, etc. plus, i completely have to change my diet...meaning no more chipotle (shoot me now!)  i really don't think this will ever be over and it is just the medical industry sucking more money out of me! hopefully by the end of the summer this will be figured out and i'll be on my merry way saying "wow! i hope i never have to go through that again".

oh the job front...i really hate retail.  i didn't realize i disliked it so much! on the on the other hand, i love my children! the boys i nanny for are amazing.  i won't go so far as saying they're perfect because they have their little devil moments, but overall it's a joy watching them.  it really emphasizes my wanting for children, while at the same time re-affirming that i'm not quite ready for my own kids!

i have also decided to take the LSAT and hopefully attend law school in the fall of 2006.  i need to start seriously considering where i will apply and if i am going to do a joint program.  if i do decide on the joint program i then must figure out which program i want (mba/ jd or poli sci/ jd, etc). decisions, decisons, decisions!

well, i'm out for the night...
